Lucky Life Hack

It’s bad luck if you’re unlucky,

They say fortune favors the brave.

The type of luck you have,

May save you from an early grave.

To be in the right place and at the right time,

Is tricky! But only half luck.

If you’re locked up inside, whilst the world passes by,

It’s your own fault for feeling quite stuck.

Horse-shoe, foot of bunny and a clover of four,

Will help you feel lucky at best.

But fortune is gained by much more than dead things.

And won’t come, to those always at rest.

A confident smile whilst walking a mile,

Will keep you real chirpy and bright,

You’ll hardly get sick, if you’re always quick,

To clean up, and keep schedules quite tight.

Prepare yourself, for important events,

Be clear and precise with intentions,

If you know what you’re doing, you’re well onto wooing,

And holding good peoples’ attentions.

For unless you are lucky, by nature’s good will,

Or by pure chance you win all the time,

Connections with people and places and self,

Are the things than can make life sublime.

But watch out for black cats, don’t step on the cracks,

From mirrors and ladders keep clear!

Don’t wish actors good luck, keep your chopsticks well tucked,

Open brollies inside? Just don’t dare!
